She may be promoting her Body Book these days, but Cameron Diaz‘s stunning physique deserves an ode all its own. The 41-year-old star had no problem flaunting her many assets while enjoying a girls trip to the Caribbean on March 17.
Frolicking in the warm waves, the Annie villainess looked fit and healthy in tiny red bikini bottoms and a blue and white striped top with her hair pulled back in two French braid pigtails.
But as she snapped pictures with pals and enjoyed the warm weather, Diaz decided to ditch her bikini top, untying it before jumping into the water with her similarly stripped-down friends.
The seasoned actress’ confidence mirrors her recent press appearances where she has talked about her new self-help health book.
“I thought the body was the most important to understand how it works since we all have one,” Diaz told Chelsea Handler on March 3. She also talked about quitting smoking for good at age 30 and giving up diet sodas.
These healthy choices have made her 40s the self-proclaimed best years of her life.
“I could not wait [to turn 40],” she recently gushed to Oprah Winfrey. “I was so excited. I really felt like the day I woke up as a 40-year-old woman, I went, ‘Oh, now life begins! Oh this is it. This is the coolest thing ever.'”
And the currently-single star does admit that watching her physical changes can be scary, but that she enjoys the “gradual” process.
“We all do it. We all look in the mirror and start to see those changes, but it doesn’t happen overnight,” she told Winfrey. “You get to learn about yourself and see yourself and start to live with who you are as you go.”
But one thing she won’t do is buy into the anti-aging creams and serums.
“I get so mad when I hear on commercials on television say ‘Anti-aging,'” Diaz admitted to Oprah. “We don’t honor the journey, and who we are and how much we have to offer. It’s almost as if we have failed if we don’t remain 25 for the rest of our lives. Oh I’m sorry, I apologize, I wasn’t able to defy nature!”
You sure about that, Cam?
